This skirt was made for you and me. I’m not sure I’ve ever been in love with a skirt more than this very moment. It arrived over the weekend and I have literally worn it three times this week [poolside pictures coming Friday]! It fits like a dream and I feel so comfortable in it. The fabric is a stretchy cotton blend and the peplum is nothing short of magical. Now I know this skirt is bright – and thats why I love it so so much! I’m very much obsessed with neons right now. Frankly, I would love to see this skirt in other prints and patterns and even in a scuba fabric. It would make an amazing workwear piece in a light stretchy scuba fabric [picture it, you would be so comfortable and chic wearing it]!
I looked long and hard for the perfect crop top to pair with this skirt. The cutouts in this crop top are surprisingly nice – I was weary that they would emphasize side boob/chuggle but I was amazed when I saw my reflection in the mirror. I’m wearing a 3x in both the top and skirt and if you’re between sizes on top, you might consider going up a size. I’m planning to order another crop top like this and will be getting a 4x next time.
