My boyfriend has been asking me to go to the Phoenix Art Museum with him for weeks now and I kept putting it off. I just didn’t think it would be that exciting – well, I was wrong. Since its still really hot in Phoenix at this time of the year, I wanted to be comfortable yet still chic – so I chose a pair of dainty crepe flared shorts, a cropped tee-shirt and my newest bag from Fashion to Figure.

Last Saturday we finally had the chance to head into the city. The Phoenix Art Museum was even more interesting than I thought it would be. We loved many of the exhibits [although we weren’t able to see everything]; but our favorites were the Contemporary Collection and the European Collection.
I’m so happy we went, because outside of having a blast enjoying the artwork while walking hand in hand, we were able to visit a fashion exhibit – Pattern Play just before the museum rotated it out of circulation.
After we left the museum, we decided to try out a restaurant we had been hearing about for a long time – Pizzeria Bianco and it was F A N T A S T I C! We’re pretty picky about Pizza & will not eat at any large chain pizza joints. For reference, when getting a pie locally, we like Oreganos [their ceasar salad is my fav]. However, the best pizza we’ve ever had was at Naples [Downtown Disney].
What makes Pizzeria Bianco special is that from the moment you see your pie you know its made of natural wholesome ingredients. We ordered the margherita and it was delightfully fresh and filling. The crust was thin with a bit of a crunch and the mozzarella was oh-so-fresh [not shredded and not over processed]. If you ever visit Phoenix [or are local] make sure to try it! Next time you want to have a relaxing and delicious dinner in a quaint Pizzeria, try Pizzeria Bianco. Oh – and did I mention, its nationally known as one of the best pizzerias!
