Corporate to Couture: Tres Chic

When I buy clothes, my favorite things to buy are pieces that can be worn from the office to happy hour because I think transitional pieces are the best investments. For this #corporatetocouture post I wanted to highlight two beautifully made garments that I love.

For the corporate look, I paired a gorgeous pink ruched dress with a chic scarf, a sleek moto vest, and lavender accessories. This blush moto vest from Mynt 1792 works well over dresses and skirts and the fabric is divine. I’m wearing the 3x and it fits like a glove. This vest has easily become one of my favorite pieces during this summer to fall transition and I’m really excited to layer it this fall. I recently received a few other pieces from Mynt 1792 and each piece is made of high quality fabric – I really cannot stress how luxurious their pieces are. If you haven’t tried the brand, you’re missing out! [scroll for links]

For the couture look, this pink ruched dress from IGIGI fits like a glove [size 18/20, wearing spanx]. When you’ve had a long day in the office and you’re meeting the girls for dinner afterwards, this is what you wear! It will transform you from tired to chic. Simply remove the vest and scarf and you’re ready to sip cocktails with your besties!
