build me up, buttercup

When I saw this, I had to have it. It’s the perfect yellow – soft, like a buttercup yet warm like a marigold. This beauty is from Courtney Noelle and it’s quite literally one of the most beautiful gowns I’ve ever worn. She is one of my favorite indie designers. Every piece I’ve worn from her line has been made beautifully and with care – the fabrics have all been high quality and luxurious. She really understands how to design for a woman with curves. The fabric used for the pleated overlay is sheer and has slits that show a simple romper underneath. This gown is both simple yet refined with just enough style to be incredibly special. I’d love to see this style repeated in an upcoming line.
