Today’s look is a loser but there’s good news! I have some designer dupes to share!
When I was shopping for a new sweatshirt dress, I was thinking sporty, colorful, comfortable – and something that would be fun to wear with my new APL dupes. Yes friends, I found some really cute dupes for those very expensive APL leopard sneakers we all want but are sold out almost everywhere.
So normally, when things show up that I don’t love, I don’t post about them on my blog but I wanted to post this look to remind you that not every single outfit will be what you envisioned. If it doesn’t work out, do not let that discourage you. Do not let a tight dress (that should fit loosely) ruin your day. I’m wearing the 2x and I will size up if I decide to exchange it.
Do not tell yourself that there is anything wrong with you because the outfit didn’t work out. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard friends curse themselves out for not fitting into something. For me, this dress was a bit of a disappointment and I’m not going to keep it. I expected the dress to be roomy and comfortable and it isn’t. It’s about a size too small and the fabric isn’t a luxurious soft and stretchy sweatshirt fabric I’d expect from Nike.
Thankfully, the sneakers are just perfect! I have a few other sweatshirt dresses coming soon!
