One Top, 2 friends, 4 Ways

When I met Nicole, I was surprised to find out that we wear the same size because our body shapes are quite different.

She’s 5’10 and I’m 5’4. Finding out that we wear the same size, yet look really different in clothing presented tons of ideas that we’ll be shooting this spring! We went shopping the other day at Forever 21 and found this adorable peplum top.

Similar available here:

I thought it would be fun to pair this top with bright colors, but for those of you who prefer neutrals, I’ve got you covered!

So I’ve been dying to wear this Taxi clutch…

and I threw in one of my favorite statement necklaces for the neutral outfit.

We wore the top backwards because the peplum on the back is two layers – which creates a more lady like shape in the front. Tip: Don’t be affraid to wear a top backwards if you think it looks better that way!

Find out more about the top:

These looks demonstrate my belief that peplum is a plus size wardrobe staple. Let me know in the comments if you own a black peplum top!
