New Apartment Tour | Desenio gallery wall

I’ve always wanted a gallery wall but I worried that I wouldn’t know how to make it work. If you’re not confident about decorating, making a home can feel a bit daunting. And it wasn’t until recently that I realized that I’m a perfectionist when it comes to home decor.

I’ve never really loved anything I decorated. But – this is the first time that putting art on the wall was easy. For today’s post, I teamed up with Desenio. If you follow me on Instagram, you might have noticed that Mr. Unicorn (Tommy) and I recently moved into a new apartment. It’s temporary of course since we’ve relocated to Tucson to be close to work and have rented out his home in the meantime.

It’s been almost a year now that we’ve been living outside of Phoenix and it took some time for me to settle in. We just moved into a newer, nicer apartment and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Everything just feels brighter – the floors are a light gray, the fixtures are new and the space just feels right.

So with a new home comes new wall art – ah, yes! The fun part. I’ve been getting a little help from his mom (who is honestly a masterful & talented decorator). She’s been super helpful and sweet and I’m grateful for her insight over text.

When it came time to choose wall art for our gallery wall, I was pretty relieved when I went to Desenio’s website and found that they have an entire section of their site dedicated to ready to shop & completely customizable Gallery Walls. They take the guesswork out of the entire experience – you choose a wall you like and then you can customize it to fit your space. I chose mine from their “botanical” section but there are so many other beautiful gallery walls – it was hard to choose just one.

For now, we have a temporary sofa because our new sofa is a custom order but I still love how it turned out.

Can you guess what color we went with for the new sofa?
