Wearing a swing dress can be intimidating because they don’t hug your curves and you might be worried that they will make you look bigger – and lets be honest, most of us don’t have that goal in mind when choosing a LBD. Some swing dresses are made of a thin material that can cling to the body which ruins the swing effect when you move. This swing dress [similar], however is d i v i n e. The fabric is a lightweight scuba and it lays beautifully over the body; it doesn’t cling when you move in it either. It has a slight hi-low hem effect which is really nice as a measure of modesty [if you’re into that sort of thing]. You may have seen that I also bought it in pink. This dress looks great on as is but I thought it would be fun to show another way to wear it. I paired it with a vintage scarf [similar], my newest Chanel look-alike [here], my Chanel brooch [similar] and a pair of gorgeous flats [similar]. For a little bit more color, I added a sleeveless button down in a gorgeous hot green [similar]. The key to wearing a swing dress is to choose the right accessories – which will help to accentuate the chic elements inherent in the swing dress design. See this dress in pink here.
