Getting away from LA

I’ve missed the desert, so much.

The moment I moved to the Valley of the Sun back in 2009, it felt like home. If you’ve been following me for a while, you probably know that I spent my late 20s in Phoenix working on my education and after graduating law school, I moved to LA. A few weeks ago, I spent a weekend back in Phoenix and it was a dream.

I have truly missed the calm feeling you feel when you drive the freeways in the valley and enjoy the beautiful desert sunsets.

After a long day in the office, I tossed my luggage into the back seat and hit the road. With KYGO all the way up, the wind in my hair and my coziest driving sweater (below), I was ready. So eventually, when I pulled into the valet line at the Camby Hotel, I settled in to a luxurious stay.

Being back home in Phoenix was surreal. I had the pleasure of eating at one of my favorite restaurants, shot with one of my fav AZ photogs and enjoyed the pure bliss that is Phoenix. Getting away from LA was everything my heart needed.

A few things have changed since I was last in Phoenix, but we’ll dive into that more later. There’s something new coming in 2018. So stay tuned because I have a big announcement coming up!  [scroll below for outfit details]
